Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), engagement and mandate letters, term sheets, and non-binding offers.
• Advise deal and investment teams on legal and commercial terms, including the scope of services, fees, and liability/indemnities.
• Support transaction execution, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements while coordinating with external counsel.
• Contribute to improvements in templates and processes within the legal framework of asset management.

Requirements

• Approximately 3 to 6 years of Post-Qualified Experience (PQE) from asset management firms, private equity, or hedge funds; candidates with broader financial services backgrounds may be considered.
• Demonstrable experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial and transaction documents, particularly NDAs, engagement letters, and term sheets.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is required.
