Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Human Resources department, ensuring alignment with county goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that support organizational effectiveness.

- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations while fostering a fair and equitable workplace.
- Provide guidance and support to county departments on HR-related matters, including employee relations and performance management.

- Manage employee benefits and compensation programs to maintain competitive offerings.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and mediation processes within the workforce.
- Prepare and present reports on HR metrics and initiatives to county leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee development, and performance management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change and influence organizational culture.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in data-driven HR decision-making.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
