Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to promote the range of products offered by Polypipe Building Services in the commercial market.
- Identify and engage with mechanical and public health engineers, M&E contractors, and local authorities to drive product adoption.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and identify potential sales opportunities in your designated area.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Provide technical support and product knowledge to clients, addressing any queries and ensuring they are well-informed about our product offerings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a sales role is preferred but not essential; candidates from commercial, maintenance, plumbing, or installation backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with a passion for achieving sales goals.
- Ability to understand and articulate technical product information.
- Willingness to travel within the North East region, including areas from Sheffield to Newcastle.
